Financing Dental Care

We believe our fee structure represents good value and compares favourably with that of other private practices. Visit the following independent site and make your own comparisons: www.whatprice.co.uk

The majority of our patients ‘pay as they go’ and, if dentally fit, two annual check-ups and hygienist appointments will normally cost £160 a year, and half that if only one appointment is necessary.

An in-house monthly payment plan is available at £15 per month, which, for dentally fit patients, will finance two annual check-ups and hygienist appointments, a discounted fee structure and emergency cover. This represents an affordable way of maintaining healthy teeth and gums, and is particularly suitable for those who enjoy a high level of dental fitness.

We also support the new HSA Dental Plan, which provides cover for routine dental care and treatment, and emergency cover. We particularly like this plan as it is structured in a way that encourages the patient to look after their teeth between visits. Cover starts at just £7 per month for each adult and all resident children under the age of 18 can be covered from just £1 per month. For further information visit www.hsadentist.com

The Small Print!

The running costs of our dental practice are high, and patients are asked to give at least 24 hours notice when cancelling an appointment. When 24 hours notice has not been given, or when an appointment is missed, we charge a late cancellation/fail to attend fee of £1 for each minute missed – which incidentally will cover less than half our hourly costs!

If we manage to fill the time, the charge will of course be reduced. The charge incurred must be paid before any further appointments are made. We will always do our best to remind patients they have an appointment at least 24 hours before one is due, but cannot guarantee this.
