Previous positions held: Royal Navy Dentist, general practice in Bridport and Christchurch, before owning own practice in Highcliffe.
Other positions: Sits on Private Patients Complaints Panel of the General Dental Council.
Lives in East Dorset and is married with four children and five grandchildren. Geoff was one of the first dentists in the UK to contribute towards Dentaid, a charity that supports the provision of dentistry in third world countries.
In his spare time, Geoff is keen on sailing and is a qualified Yachtmaster Offshore. He also plays keyboards in a number of blues/jazz bands.
About Dr Andrew Young BDS
Academic: Qualified Birmingham, 1964
Previous practices: Steinhagen, Germany
Previous positions held: Royal Army Dental Corps and was the Dental Officer for the Household Cavalry. After leaving the army, Andrew worked initially in Germany, and then spent 18 months working in Harley Street, London. He then returned to Germany, set-up and ran his own practice for 15 years, specialising in crown, bridge and precision attachment work.
Since returning to England, Andrew has worked as an Associate in a number of practices and for the last three years has been working at A Country Practice in Dorchester. Andrew carries out most of our home visits and is able to offer a range of dental treatments.
Andrew lives in Dorchester, speaks fluent German and some French and his mainstream interests include walking, riding, cooking and gardening. He is also interested in heraldry and antiques and on occasions acts as a film extra.
About Tim Warren, Practice Manager
Academic: MA in Police Studies, Exeter, 1992
Previous positions held: police officer in Dorset for 30 years.
Positions held: member of Dental Practice Mangers Association.
Tim is married to Hilary and joined the practice in 2006, after retiring from the police. To learn more about dentistry, he joined the Dental Practice Managers Association and quickly established two things - he knew little about dentistry and he felt like the only male practice manager in the country!
Tim was responsible for project managing the installation of our second surgery, markets the practice and has responsibility for our staff. He is our team leader!
