Professional Fee Guide
We accept most credit and debit cards, cheques and cash as payment, and ask that patients pay for treatment as they go. For credit card bills of less than £100, we ask our patients to pay a £1 surcharge. New patients are normally asked to pay a deposit to secure their first appointment. For treatment involving laboratory work, we ask that a 50% deposit be paid.

Financing Dental Care
We believe our fee structure represents good value and compares favourably with that of other private practices. Visit the following independent site and make your own comparisons:
www.whatprice.co.uk
The majority of our patients ‘pay as they go’ and, if dentally fit, two annual check-ups and hygienist appointments will normally cost £168 a year, and half that if only one of each type of appointment is necessary.
An in-house monthly payment plan is available at £15 per month, which, for dentally fit patients, will finance two annual check-ups and hygienist appointments, a 15% discounted fee structure and emergency cover. This represents an affordable way of maintaining healthy teeth and gums, and is particularly suitable for those who enjoy a high level of dental fitness.
We also hold details of the HSA Dental Plan and Tesco Dental Insurance, both of which provide various levels of cover for routine dental care and treatment, and also emergency cover. These plans are structured in a way that encourages members to look after their teeth between dental appointments, and with premiums starting at around £10 per month for basic cover, with special rates for families, they can help their members budget for private dental care. The Small Print!
The running costs of our dental practice are high, and patients are asked to give at least 24 hours notice when cancelling an appointment. When 24 hours notice has not been given, or when an appointment is missed, we charge a late cancellation/fail to attend fee of £1 for each minute missed – which incidentally will cover significantly less than half our hourly costs!
If we manage to fill the time, the charge will of course be reduced. The charge incurred must be paid before any further appointments are made. We will always do our best to remind patients they have an appointment at least 24 hours before one is due, by phone or email, but cannot guarantee this.
