In July 2004, Dr Hilary Warren Simmons BDS opened this purpose built private dental practice in Dorchester, to meet the demand for high quality dental care in West Dorset and since opening we have seen over 5000 patients from Dorchester, Bridport, Weymouth and surrounding areas.
The practice was shortlisted nationally, for Best New Practice of the Year Award in 2005 and in every year since 2006 has successfully qualified for the nationally accredited British Dental Association's Good Practice Scheme. Our association with this scheme allows us to demonstrate to
our patients that we are committed to the standards of good practice set by the profession's national association.
We have two
dentists, Dr Hilary Warren Simmons and Dr Andrew Pugsley, who provide general dental care and a wide range of cosmetic treatments including tooth whitening for just £199. In October 2011 we were joined by Sue Evans, who is a Speclialist in Oral Surgery and in October 2012, Specialist Dr Wilhelm Grotepass joined our team and he is able to offer free 15 minute implant and denture consultations, and dental implants from just £1,600.
We also have two dental hygienists, Val Cope and Julie Pardoe and are delighted to welcome Vicki Coleman as our third hygienist from 12 July 2013.
Our dentists, consultants and hygienists are happy to take referrals from other dental practices and we are happy to see dental emergencies, new patients who have recently moved to the area or those who are looking for a new dentist.
The practice is fully computerised and our air-conditioned surgeries are equipped with some of the latest and very best dental equipment, including low dose digital X-rays. We also use cutting edge laser-based technology to reduce the need for invasive treatments.
