She has worked with many media - watercolour, oil and acrylic - and attended courses locally. She started out with 'wet-on-wet' floral watercolours with Mary Court and went on to exhibit with 'Chesil Art' and helped form the Poundbury Art group.
Hilary now paints mostly at home and occasionally at work during her lunch break!
In the last few years, she has painted vibrant and lively Caribbean seascapes and market scenes in oil, and these are mostly exhibited and sold at the Gallery of Caribbean Art in Barbados.
