Has lived in West Dorset since 1983, is married to Tim and they have four daughters. Hilary contributes towards Dentaid, a charity that supports the provision of dentistry in third world countries.
In her spare time, Hilary plays the piano and paints, exhibiting at a number of venues, including the practice, and in 2005 she set-up Poundbury Art for local artists. See our Art Gallery page for more details

Andrew moved from South Africa to England in 1997 and lives in East Dorset with his wife and two young children. He enjoys spending time with his family, walking the dog, camping, BBQs, tennis and motorcycling.

Dr Wilhelm Grotepass
Academic: qualified as dentist at the University of Pretoria in 1982, was awarded a BChD (Hons) in Prosthetics in 1985 and in 1991 a MChD degree as a Specialist in Prosthodontics.
Previous practices: South Africa and a number of practices in the UK since moving to the UK in 2003.
Previous positions held: After qualifying as a specialist, he worked for 13 years at the Medical University of Southern Africa and during that period became a senior consultant, Clinical Dean, head of Oral Biology and trained pre/post-graduate students where he received the ‘Best Clinician’ award from his students.
His areas of expertise include removable prosthetics (dentures), fixed prosthodontics (crowns & bridges), root canal treatments, facial pain and joint problems and in all aspects of implantology. Wilhelm is offering free consultations for cosmetic treatments and dental implants from £1,600. He particularly enjoys challenging dental problems, where others may have been unable to find a solution and has published and presented internationally on all aspects of dentistry as well as paleontology.
Although Wilhelm has many interests including working metal on miniature metal lathes, hunting fossils and riding his Triumph Speed Triple, his main passion is dentistry.

Tim Warren, Practice Manager
Academic: MA in Police Studies, Exeter, 1992
Previous positions held: police officer in Dorset for 30 years

Positions held: member of Dental Practice Managers Association.
Tim is married to Hilary and joined the practice in 2006 after retiring from a police career. He is a member of the Dental Practice Managers Association and project managed the installation of our second surgery. He also markets the practice and has responsibility for reception and our staff. He is our team leader!
Tim enjoys a number of sports including tennis and volleyball. He has traveled widely, likes live music and plays a saxophone! He has been a volunteer at Dorchester Work Club since 2011, and gives people searching for work information, advice and guidance.
